Description

Fine Victorian burr walnut and ormolu mounted credenza. Of breakfront form with glazed and bowed end doors and applied rosewood inlaid columns with ormolu Corinthian capitals. The central door having several lines of subtle inlaid banding and a central inlaid boxwood panel. The frieze having further boxwood inlay and the top with book matched burr walnut, thumb moulded and ebonised edge. The whole with subtle gilded brass embellishments and raised on a plinth base with conforming ebonised moulding and turned feet. Original faded velvet lining. Fully cleaned and waxed.
