An unusual and very good quality 19th.C.Irish clover carved freestanding walnut and burr walnut desk or centre table. The unusual shaped top having a cross banded and chamfered edge with an inset hand dyed green leather writing surface which has blind and gold tooling.The conforming shaped frieze contains a wide single, mahogany lined drawer with lock and key. The stretcher base with wonderful clover leaf carving, cross stretcher and raised on cabriole legs with brass and white porcelain casters.
