Description

A large and spectacular 19th Century aviary / bird cage. The base having cast brass cabriole legs in ornate intricate detail and "X" shaped cross stretchers. The frieze with further cast detail which holds the 2 cleaning trays. The cage consists of close brass rods having a centre door with locking catch. The solid brass sheet top with an ornate decorative pressed frieze. The cage has several wooden perches which are not shown.
