A handsome and unusual Victorian silver padlock clasp for a bracelet or watch fob chain. This classic piece has a shield-shaped silver body, set with Scottish banded agate and bloodstone. To the reverse is a foliate engraved design and the fastening is hinged. Scottish agate jewellery gained popularity in the Victorian period, due to the Queen's love of everything Scottish and is rarely marked.Postage and packing £8.00 UK
