Description

We are selling this very pretty 19th Century German Meissen teaset. The set comprises of large tray, teapot and lid, milk jug, sugar bowl with cover and cup, saucer and cover. The tray has courting couples in the countryside with brightly coloured dresses and pretty country flowers. A bright blue ribbon is painted to each side of the tray. All the other pieces are decorated in a similar manner.

Tray measures 15 inches x 10 1/2 inches and the height of the teapot being 8 1/2 inches. There is one small chip to the milk jug, the rest is in good condition and appropriate for age. Meissen crossed swords mark to base (see picture).
