We are selling this pretty 19th Century hand painted French Limoges cup and saucer. The front scene is a courting couple in the countryside. She wears a pink/lilac dress whilst he wears blue pantaloons and jacket. The picture is set within a gilt border of scrolls and foliage. Deep blue background and also deep blue saucer with gilt rim and flowers. Underneath grey/black mark. It has obviously been a cabinet piece as the condition is lovely.

Diameter of saucer 4 1/2 inches, diameter of cup 2 1/2 inches and height 2 1/4 inches.
