Description

We are selling this stunning late 19th Century Japanese silver and black lacquer jewellery cabinet. It has a swing carrying handle to the top and is engraved on each side and to the top with floral decoration of flowering chrysanthemums. The pair of doors open to reveal 3 drawers which are black lacquered and decorated with butterflies and the inner side of the doors decorated with birds. Silver knobs to the front of the drawers and lined in green velvet.

Measuring 5 inches in length, depth 4 inches and height 4 1/2 inches. Signed to one side (as shown in picture) and stamped to base. All in lovely original condition please see all pictures as they form part of description.
