Description

Hutton-Clarke antiques are pleased to offer eight mouth-blown absinthe glasses circa 1890. Torsade (twisted in French), were originally made for use in bars and are considered the most popular style of absinthe bar glass before the ban (before 1915). To date, it is the most widely used ancient absinthe glass in all of France. Made in lead crystal with pontil marks on the bottoms, a very strong and practical set of glasses.

Customers are more than welcome to come and view and collect items from the unit in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire Gl54 5JE (appointment only). All items are checked and restored to a professional standard before leaving.
