Description

A charming French Napoleon III suite comprising a pair of low armchairs and a matching stool, dating from the late 19th century. The chairs have classic rounded backs with generous scroll arms and retain their original ebonised turned legs, giving a pleasing contrast to the upholstery.

The set is upholstered in a worn mustard-yellow fabric, showing age-related marks and patina consistent with use, which adds to the relaxed, decorative appeal. Beneath the upholstery, the frames are solid and sturdy, making this an ideal candidate for re-upholstery or for use as-is in an eclectic or bohemian interior.

The matching stool completes the set perfectly, sharing the same fringe detail and turned legs.
