An Ángel Arcabucero is an angel depicted with an arquebus instead of the sword traditional for martial angels, dressed in clothing inspired by that of the Criollo and Andean nobles and aristocrats. The style arose in Peru in the second half of the 17th century and was especially prevalent in the Cusco School.
