Description
Vernon Lorimer (1888-1978) was an accomplished artist, illustrator and printmaker. He supplied a number of original illustrations for the Bookstall Company after WW1, mostly between 1921 and 1925.His work can be found in the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, N.S.W. (" Brick Kilns, South Yarra " and " Blue day, Sydney ". A collection of his military cartoons are kept at the Australian Army Museum of Western Australia.
