Description

This large, Victorian silver vesta case in wonderful condition, free from dents, with only very light surface scratches, as would be expected.
Featuring intricate scrollwork and foliage engraving to both front and reverse, the vesta measures approx 6cm high by 4cm wide, and weighs approx 35 grams.
It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1899 by maker George Nathan & Ridley Hayes.
It is free of personal engravings, with a blank, circular cartouche to both front and back.
The lid closes nice and tight, with a good 'snap' of the hinge, as you would expect.
A very nice, clean example.
