Description

A charming, carved wooden, Black Forest inkwell, in the form of a bears head.
Difficult to date, but probably circa 1900-1920, the inkwell has great character.
The bear has glass eyes and measures approx 7.5cm high, with a 7.5cm diameter.
It is in good condition, the hinge is secure, but there is some sideways play in it.
It comes with a ceramic liner, this fits well, although I doubt it is the original, as it doesn't fit completely tight, hardly noticeable, but mentioned for accuracy.
