Description

A George V, silver fork, hallmarked for Exeter, 1832, by maker William Sweet. Quite a rare makers mark as records show that he only made silver for 3 years, 1830-32.
The fork measures approx 17 cm (6 3/4 ins) long and weighs approx 35g.
It is in good condition, with some wear to prongs, and usual surface marks, as would be expected.
It has good clear hallmarks (please see photo) and an engraving on the handle.
