Description
A James I period antique oak buffet circa 1620.Continental origin.
Three tier.
Joined construction.
The top tier with moulded pediment above turned front supports. The middle tier decorated with gadrooning to the outer edge. Below, two further turned elongated supports unite the bottom tier, the outer edges again finished with applied moulding. Supported on bun feet to the front.
Slightly unusual in that there are back boards to this piece.
Condition - surface wear commensurate with age.
