We are delighted to offer for sale, this wonderful original antique George II English oak corner cabinet of very slender proportions that would fit the tightest corner of any period property.

Of excellent colour and patination.

Having recently undergone sensitive restoration (please see photos 1 to 4 now that the item has been restored - the remaining pictures show the cupboard pre-restoration), the cupboard features original extended back boards terminating in a shaped pediment with evidence of a shaped shelf, long since removed over moulded cornice. The door with fielded panel and later replacement escutcheon, original lock and original butterfly hinges secured by way of clout / rose nails, opening to reveal an interior with two plain / unshaped shelves. Moulded cornice again to base.
