The impressionistic dress and hat is a wonderful contrast to the very finely painted beautiful face,so typical of Sir John Lavery's work. The oval portrait which is in an oval gilt frame, is in good condition. This antique antique oil portrait is ready to hang and would be an artistic and decorative statement on any wall.
