Set of 6 Victorian mahogany balloon back dining chairs
Here we have this delightful set of dining chairs, with the most desirable balloon backs.
The set of 6 chairs have stuff-over seats that have been fully re-upholstered in our workshops. The chairs have also been polished.
Each with the lovely balloon back and stand on turned legs to the front
These chairs would have been originally purchased for a top end middle class home circa 1860.
We find this style matches in well with most designs of dining table and because of the soft lines of the balloon back.
Victorian chairs like this were made to a very good standard and are harder to find these days as the majority were exported to wealthy countries throughout the world in the antiques export boom from the 1970’s to 1990’s
