We have restored this very good desk using traditional methods, where no lacquers or spraying finishes are used. The inset writing leather has been replaced by a high quality leather hide that is antiques and gilt tooled. The desk is walnut with mahogany drawer linings and would have been retailed by a high end retailer in the Edwardian period.
The desk is fitted 9 drawers around the kneehole. it comes into 3 parts for ease of transportation
