This Edwardian oak Maple & co pedestal desk was made circa 1900 in the workshops of Maple & Co, the well-respected cabinetmakers, who had prestige showrooms in London, Paris, and Buenos Aires.
The pedestal desk is of a superb size that can suit a good-sized office, as it provides a wonderful workstation, and it still has its original leather inset writing surface.
The desk was made in 3 parts, the top that that is fitted 3 drawers and the 2 pedestals that have 3 graduated drawers in each. All the drawers are lined in fine mahogany and fitted their original brass handles.
