Set of 8 Regency mahogany dining chairs
This high-end set of 8 Regency mahogany dining chairs were made circa 1810.
Bar back chairs are always very comfortable as the shape moulds into your back.
The chairs have the rope twist turned central bars, that were in celebration of Lord Nelsons victory, as well as the drop in seat that took the battles name as Trafalgar seats.
The rope twist theme runs to the tapered front legs, also across the seats front rail.
This dramatic set of Regency dining chairs are I suggest as good as you will get. They have been carefully looked after and ready for your home.
Just think of the history behind these chairs and ow the original owners would sit at the dining table with their family and friends discussing the exciting topic of Lord Nelson and Napoleon. Even now you may do the same as you tell your guests the background to the style of chair your proudly own.
