Victorian mahogany chiffonier sideboard
This Victorian mahogany chiffonier sideboard was made circa 1865 in a top end workshop.
The 2 drawers under the top are waterfall shape with beautifully figured drawer fronts.
Under the drawers are cupboards enclosed by a pair of panel doors that open to reveal 2 shelves to the left and one to the right. This gives you superb storage.
These compact pieces of quality furniture give fantastic storage utilising all the floorspace without wasted area.
Interesting footnote: On the top there is a small repair patch (see the image) by repute due to a burn from an incendiary bomb during the Blitz on London.
