This Antique oak North Country dresser was made circa 1800 for an important country home or farm for use in the large bustling kitchen, where it could be used for good storage of all the items needed.
It is typical of furniture made in the workshops of Lancashire with the bandings of mahogany and the classic quarter columns to the front corners.
It is fitted multiple drawers and with a central cupboard that open to reveal a shelf.
These can be used in many areas of the home, not only a good kitchen area but halls, entranceways, drawing rooms, dining areas and other places that need good storage with character.
