Regency mahogany press wardrobe
This Regency mahogany press wardrobe was made circa 1810.
The double door upper section has the very useful feature of having half hanging space and the other half with the linen slides. Originally these would have been full width but were reduced in width to provide the good hanging space.
The base section with a pair of drawers above the 2 full width drawers. These provide wonderful storage. All the drawers are lined in fine oak and the drawer bottoms with the original blue paper lining.
This wardrobe stands on its original fine turned feet.
The wardrobe comes into 3 parts for removal and transportation around your home. The cornice lifts off and the cupboard section lifts off the base.
