This Edwardian mahogany claw and ball extending dining table was made Circa 1910-30
The table extends using the extending mechanism allowing the table to extend so that you can place the large extra leaf into the table.
Even without the extra leaf in place, the table is of a good size to entertain at.
You of course can use the table without the leaf.
The Edwardian mahogany claw and ball extending dining table stands on lovely solid cabriole legs ending with claw and ball legs with concealed castors under.
To the top of the legs the legs are plain (quite often they are heavily carved) with delicate S-scroll carving to the border.
This dining table would have originally been retailed new at one of the premier house furnishers of the period, Maples, Waring and Gillow, Harrods or a similar company.

If you intend to visit to view this lovely dining table, please call to make an appointment as it is stored in one of our warehouses. Normally, we would have the table on show but due to showroom space problems at present we are storing this away from our showrooms. We will be delighted to meet you at the warehouse for you to view. It is not a problem for us to do so.
