This Edwardian inlaid revolving desk chair was made circa 1900.
Revolving desk chairs are very popular mainly due to the ease you can leave or get to your desk.
This example is a high-grade chair where the construction and materials used were of fine quality.
When this Edwardian inlaid revolving desk chair was made inlaid banding and boxwood stringing was high fashion and a must have.
We have re-upholstered and recovered this chair in Grade 1 English leather before dyeing it by before finishing it with our specialist antique finish.
Each brass stud was painstakingly tapped in which is not only time consuming, but a great deal of skill and patience is required.
The deep leather seat makes working a more comfortable experience, as well as the horseshoe shaped back rail with the rolled arms that wrap around you.
The desk chair stands on a cross section base finishing with the original brass and china castors.
