Edwardian inlaid mahogany bureau
This Edwardian inlaid mahogany bureau was made circa 1910 in one of the finest workshops at the time.
When you pull open the desk fall, the wonderful brass stays connected to the fall slide the desk supports from under the top to give it support. Once open the fine satinwood interior is revealed with the cupboard and arrangement of drawers and pigeon-holes.
Below the writing area is the double cupboard with oval mahogany panes that reveals the storage space fitted a full-length shelf.
The bureau stands on shaped bracket feet.
The bureau is inlaid with satinwood banding and also has the brass 3/4galley around the top.
