This Victorian mahogany desk chair was made circa 1870, and it is of a good grand size
The desk chair has a solid saddle seat, these are very comfortable and good to sit at for long periods.
The arms curve around the frame and finish with a good hand grip. The arms are supported by 3 pierced decorative splats, these make the chair very attractive from the front and the rear.
The mahogany desk chair has the desirable double stretcher joining the legs, that not only gives it a pleasing look it adds to the overall structure of this chair.
