Antique oak dresser base
This Antique oak dresser base was made in the early part of the 19th.century.
This dresser is fitted with 3 drawers along the front, all fitted with brass swing handles and the matching lock plates.
The dresser base stands on slender cabriole legs to the front and with the usual square legs to the rear.
The cabriole legs at the front are particularly elegant and well-drawn, and where the leg starts the ear is not of the normal design it has a curl that follows into the shaped apron.
These make superb pieces that can be placed in so many places around the home.
Imagine how good this will look in an entrance hall, dining room or drawing room.
