This Georgian walnut chest on chest was first made in the first half of the 18thc. Circa 1730
The chest on chest (tallboy) was made in 2 parts, that makes is easier to get into your home, or transport around the house to different locations.
Below the straight moulded cornice are the row of 3 drawers, above 3 full width graduated drawers.
The bottom section with a further 3 full width graduated drawers.
This chest on chest stands on straight bracket feet.
All the drawers are lined in fine oak, and with shaped and engraved back plates with swing handles.
