This Victorian burr walnut coffee table would have been made circa 1860.
The top of oval shape, with superb burr walnut.
The solid walnut base of 4 cabriole legs with the original china castors under.
Formally this table was a loo table, but has been reduced in height to make a coffee table.
As coffee tables are a 20thc invention items have been adapted over the years, to make good coffee tables to fit in with the modern lifestyle.
