This Victorian shaped leather Ottoman was first made circa 1870.
Our specialist leather craftsman has completely renewed the leather, firstly by hand dying it to this chestnut shading before giving it an antique finish.
Each brass stud is carefully tapped in individually, patience is a virtue in this process.
The body of a concave form with panels that are quilted and studded, taking the shape into consideration.
The lid is deep buttoned.
The Ottomans lid lifts on brass hinges to reveal a large open storage area, and stands on a mahogany turned bun foot to each corner.
