Chinese Elm low side table
This Chinese Elm low side table would have been made in the late 19thc.
Fitted 3 drawers with the unusual brass flush handles, that you push in at the top that then allows you to get to the tongue of the handle to pull to open the drawer.
This table is made of lovely Elm that has lots of character as well as being of a lovely mellow golden colour.
As this is a little lower that the standard side-tables you see, it would make a brilliant stand for a television or music system.
The table stands on solid slab ends, and with the exposed dovetails showing on the top surface at each end. Thus making another interesting feature.
