Queen Anne walnut chest
This Queen Anne walnut chest would have been made from timber felled on a grand estate for one of the farmhouses.
The chest with 3 drawers under the top, and a further 3 graduated drawers below.
Each drawer with a walnut cross banding around the edges, bordered by herringbone inlay. A banding runs up the middle of the drawer to form a panel of walnut to each side. This is a very decorative feature.
