Georgian mahogany sideboard of serpentine shape
Here is your opportunity to own this Georgian serpentine mahogany inlaid sideboard.
This antique sideboard would have been made in the late Georgian period, circa 1830.
Of the desirable serpentine shape and standing on 6 tapered legs finishing with spade shape feet.
This Georgian sideboard is of the usual design, with a cupboard between the long central drawer.
Each cupboard door has a lovely sophisticated roundel of cross-banding in the flame mahogany, with a central brass ring handle.
The serpentine shape gives this a very important look, without being flashy, classic restrained English country house style.
All around the edge of the top, the cupboards and drawers there is a lovely cross-banding edged in box wood.
The sideboard has a great serving area or place to put decanters, photo frames etc.
