This Victorian open bookcase is made of Goncalo Alves.
Goncalo Alves is sometimes referred to as Tigerwood — a name that describes the wood’s often dramatic, contrasting colour and figure to the grain. The sapwood of this is very light in colour, while the heartwood is a brown. This combination gives the wood the dramatic and attractive look.
Fitted 3 adjustable full length shelves, this allows you to arrange the shelves to the right height to fit your book collection.
The stiles running down each side of the bookcase, have the attractive feature of a channelled moulding.
