Edwardian walnut tallboy
Here we have this Edwardian walnut tallboy to offer you.
Of a lovely golden colour, this chest on chest would look superb in any home.
The tallboy is made in 2 sections, the base section consisting of 3 graduated drawers below the brushing slide. The brushing slide was said to have been on chests for the valet to brush the gentleman’s clothes before use.
The top section has 2 small drawers to the top and a further 3 graduated drawers below.
Each drawer is cross-banded around the edges, and fitted the original plate swing handles.
As this chest on chest is a very nice narrow size it would fit into most homes.
As it is attractive and well proportioned, it can be placed in a downstairs area or in the bedroom and or landing area of your home.
This lovely piece of English furniture would have been made in the late Edwardian period circa 1910.
