Georgian mahogany bow-front chest

Georgian chest of drawers made circa 1820, that is fitted 4 rows of graduated oak lined drawers and oval brass swing handles.
The chest which is bow-fronted , stands on elegant splay feet joined by a shaped apron, the top with cross-banding around the edge, bordered by ebony lines. Above the drawers, just below the top are inlaid panels of satinwood.
This type of antique chest is always popular, as the bow shape makes it look elegant, but very practical at the same time.
