Edwardian round mahogany extending dining table
Here we have this mahogany extending dining room table, made in the Chippendale style.
This table closes as a round table and then winds out on a telescopic mechanism ,to take the 3 extra leaf inserts.
Having fine carving around the edge of the table, a well as having the extra feature of a skirt on the extra leaves. Thus making the underframe all the same.
This dining table has a square leg to each corner, finishing with a block foot with concealed castors under.
Each leg with the Chinese Chippendale influence, with the inset panels on each side, in lattice work design.
This table is at the high end of the quality range, and the timber is again well chosen.
