Here we have this Victorian chest, that would have been used by an officer to transport his uniforms, and valuables on campaigns in the east.
Made in teak, that would have been most durable for land and sea transit, and then with good brass strapping to the corners and sides to protect it on the journeys it was going to take.
Imagine the places and skirmishes this may have witnessed!
This brass bound trunk can be used in so many places around the home.
This chest lid lifts to reveal an open storage area as well as a lidded compartment for storing smaller items
