Victorian mahogany large pedestal desk
Here we have this large mahogany double pedestal desk.
This desk is of a most desirable size and design.
The desk would have been made circa 1860.
It was made in 3 sections, the 2 pedestals and then the top. This was for ease of transportation into an office or home.
It has a wonderful antiqued pale green leather that is hand gilt tooled. The leather is hand dyed and then antiqued to a superb finish.
The desk is fitted 3 drawers above the knee-hole and 3 graduated drawers to each pedestal that are to each side of the knee-hole.
