Here we have this intriguing iron bound trunk.
Made in an Eastern hardwood and then iron bound to protect it from the rigours of long journeys as well as for protecting a wealthy traders valuables.
This makes a wonderful conversation piece as well as brilliant as a coffee table
This would have been made in the 19thc
