THE CHALKE VALLEY TABLE
Here we have our exclusive Chalke Valley dining table. This table closes circular and then winds out on a telescopic action to take 3 leaf insertions. This superb table can be used closed or with any combination of the extra leaves, making this a very versatile piece.
The top with superb figured mahogany that makes the table very eye-catching
The table has a fine carved gadrooned edge, and each leaf has a skirt that makes the table look balanced when the leaves are in place.
This table has the exclusive Hingstons Antiques finish by our french polisher who uses the traditional methods when refinishing. The table is re-polished back to its former glory and then finally finished with a fine wax polish.
The table stands on square tapering legs with fine flutes running down the legs to the spade feet and with the original china castors below.
