Victorian mahogany campaign chest
Victorian 2 part campaign/military chest with flush handles and corners.
This chest was made in parts and would have been used by an officer to take on campaign.
The top half with 2 small drawers and a larger drawer below.
The base section fitted 2 long drawers and standing on turned mahogany feet.
This chest has the original flush brass handles and inset brass corners all to help keep its strength for the vigors of transportation around the world.
As these chests are made in 2 parts it makes them very easy for transportation around the home, and we have many cottage owners who have tricky staircases pleased to own these!!
