Description

This is a very decorative item and at the same time slightly odd as it a childs head & upper torso. It is the wax mold used for lost cast casting method for casting sculptures etc in various metals, these ones tended to be bronze or spelter. It ias marked up on the cap of the head with ‘cut out along line and keep for firing’ also ‘Wolf Gormanns Design’ ‘903’ indistinct stamp and ‘ 01 96’. Measures 22cm high by 17cm wide and 15cm deep.
