Description
A charming study of a Victorian lady with her young son.Completed by a skilled artist however the piece is not signed. Using the style of the sitters dress we estimate a date of approx 1860.
To the verso, written in pencil reads the legend ?Jimmy Roberts and Mother.
Oil on canvas that has been later laid to a wooden board. The painting is in good condition and to the frame minor evidence of wear with old repairs.
