Description

This is a fantastic Antique Art Nouveau period WMF Silver Plate Cornucopia Centrepiece with a Cherub sitting to the front. To the underside is the WMF trademark used between 1910 and 1925 plus the letter g is impressed just below it to denote it is gilded.

It is in good condition but does exhibit some age-related wear as you would expect, which includes some areas of light tarnishing, common with pieces of this age, but no dings or dents. The wheels move and are intact plus it is rare to find one with the butterfly still on the Cherubs hand, although there could be a wing missing but not obvious. It is of a large size, measuring 23.5cm high and 25cm long overall.
