A most attractive Table Top Chest of Drawers, Dating from late 19th early 20th Century.
Made from an oak carcass veneered totally in matched flame mahogany, even on the back. The top and sides are all cross banded too. It has a serpentine front, with four graduated drawers with the most beautiful cast and mercurial gilded handles ( which probably are much older ) The drawers are all dovetailed and oak lined and made quite exceptionally well.
It stands on splay bracket feet with a shaped frieze which also gracefully sweeps forward.
