Description

A late 19th century Irish mahogany torchere, c.1880.

The torchere has a turned top above a finely fluted column raised upon a tripod base, each cabriole leg is decorated with a carved shell and terminating in paw feet.

There is light wear commensurate with age but generally the torchere is in a very good condition throughout, with great patina and form.
