A fantastic grotesque bird inspired by Martin Brothers (fl.1870-1923) by Andrew Hull for Burslem Pottery. Signed and dated '08' to the base.

The figure has a large rich green open beak above blue wings, one of which is slightly elevated in a jaunty fashion.

Excellent condition throughout.
